The Bellevue Club Swim Team (BCST) is looking for a part-time Age Group Coach to join our staff in the fall. BCST is a Silver Medal club and one of the premier teams in the Pacific Northwest with a long history of success both locally and nationally. As an AG Coach you will: Plan, organize, develop and conduct training sessions for the BCST Swim Team members.Ensure that swimmers involved in the BCST Swim Team program participate regularly in team workouts, training sessions, and meetings. Maintain detailed records of all swimmer’s workouts and attendance.Accompany swimmers to scheduled meets. Supervise pre-meet warm-ups, and motivate and evaluate swimmers during the meet.Ensure that all workouts and training sessions administered are safe and complete, and that the workouts accomplish the competitive goals of the BCST swim team program.Applicants must have competitive swimming background, either as a coach or swimmer, with a strong knowledge in stroke mechanics and an appreciation for the long term development process in the sport of swimming. Practice times range from 5:00 to 8:00 pm M-F, with meets offered to swimmers every 3 weeks. The start date is Sept. 2nd. Candidates will need to become certified in CPR, First Aid, and Coaches’ Safety and must be able to pass a background check.
