Assistant Swim Team Coach YMCA of Greater Richmond 1- Goochland, VA $10 an hour – Part-time

The Goochland Family YMCA is looking for an experienced, motivated, and reliable assistant swim team coach to mentor and encourage the members of our swim team. The YMCA of Greater Richmond is a nonprofit organization with the goal of strengthening the foundations of community. We do this through programs that help build a healthy mind, body and spirit for all, and our programs are built around our three focus areas: Healthy Living, Youth Development and Social Responsibility. DUTIES This position is responsible for providing workouts, instructions, motivation and support to our swim team. Focus should be on creating a safe and fun environment.

QUALIFICATIONS Current Professional CPR, AED and First Aid and YMCA/or American Red Cross Lifeguard/or Ellis certification are required as well as the ability to perform all four strokes (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle). YMCA Swim Instructor or WSI, knowledge of Team Manager and Meet Manage and current O2 certification are desired. **All applicants MUST provide copies of current certifications with applications.
