We are currently looking for an Assistant Swim Team Coach to join our team. This is a regularly scheduled part-time position less than 20 hours per week.The Assistant Swim Team Coach is responsible for helping coach and manage the YWCA St. Paul swim team, the Piranhas. This position provides age group coaching with an emphasis on safety, proper skill development and team member development. In this role you will:Provide age group coaching, following all YWCA St. Paul safety guidelines.Coach team members’ in technique mastery and skill development to reach their goals.Plan seasonal activities and lead daily workouts.Promote YWCA’s competitive swimming program in the community.The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Minimum of one-year swim coaching experience at the YWCA/YMCA, USA or High School levels.Previous experience as a competitive swimmer.Must be certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to members and guests.If you enjoy the opportunity to make a difference and work in a collaborate environment where we celebrate and appreciate each other, please submit your resume, salary requirements and completed application.
