Swim Otters Swim & Fitness School, metro Denver’s premiere swim school, is growing! With seven convenient locations in Boulder, Broomfield, Lakewood, Park Meadows, Stapleton, Thornton, and Wheat Ridge, we are expanding our team of Professional Swim Instructors!We are looking for dedicated and passionate individuals, who can connect with and motivate children 6 months to 13 years old. We need instructors that are driven to be a positive influence in the lives of children, and want to help prevent pediatric drowning. Our instructors provide private, one-on-one lessons year around, in a collection of some of the finest indoor pools available.Qualifications:Must be 18 years or older to apply.Must be dependable, enthusiastic and have reliable transportation.2 years of progressive experience with young children, teaching group/private swim lessons, coaching swim team, and/or lifeguarding.Due to the time and expense involved in training, a minimum of 1 year commitment is required.Background checks are required, due to the nature of our business.Responsibilities of InstructorsRunning your scheduled lessons on time and managing each student’s progress.Communicating with each parent on their child’s progress in their program, and setting goals for their child.Following Swim Otters refined and proven curriculum for each lesson.Maintaining open communication with management, regarding your lessons.Maintaining a clean pool environment and keeping equipment in good condition.Part-time employees begin with a starting wage of $12- $13/hour, after a training period of 4 to 8 weeks (depending on experience.)
