Part-time: Diving Coach University of Delaware
Job description: This part time position (17-20 hours per week of on deck coaching) serves as the Head Diving Coach for men and women. The diving coach is responsible for planning and conducting practice/competition activities for an NCAA Division I Diving program; athlete skill development and performance analysis; identifying & recruiting highly competitive student-athletes; as well as other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Swim Coach. Integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge of the sport are required. Must have a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified student-athletes. This is a non- benefited position. Minimum job requirements Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Qualifications and Experience: Experience coaching elite athletes on a nationally competitive level; knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules and regulations. The candidate must exhibit strong computer, administrative, organizational and interpersonal communications skills. USA Diving Safety Training for Competitive Diving Coaches certification.
