TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — The ribbon will soon be cut on the Bryan Glazer Family Jewish Community Center in West Tampa, but on Monday News Channel 8 got a look inside the center.The completely renovated historic Fort Homer W. Hesterly Armory will open as the Bryan Glazer Family Jewish Community Center with more than 100,000 square feet of community space. The ribbon cutting ceremony and official opening Thursday at 11 a.m. at the JCC, located at 522 N. Howard Avenue.The state-of-the-art facility will include a premier fine arts center operated by the City of Tampa in conjunction with the Tampa Museum of Art in partnership with the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners.The JCC will hold a fitness center with indoor track and multi-sport gymnasium, a fully equipped outdoor aquatic center, the Diane and Leon Mezrah Family Aquatic Center at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC, a social service center operated by Tampa Jewish Family Services and the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator (FIBA).
