Please Note The GA will receive a waiver of tuition and fees for up to 9 credit hours per semester in a graduate program. The position includes a stipend of $12,708 a year offered September to May in monthly payments. Student health insurance is also available through the university. Position may be renewed on an annual basis. If accepted, the GA must be fully admitted into a UW graduate program. Job Duties The University of Wyoming, a Division I member of the NCAA and a member of the Mountain West Conference (women’s team) and Western Athletic Conference (men’s team), is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Swimming Coach. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the swimming and diving program including coaching, recruiting, training, coordinating team travel, assisting with administrative duties and performing other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The successful candidate will be a person of integrity with high ethical standards and exhibit a strict adherence to NCAA, MWC, WAC, University and departmental rules and regulations. Skills/Requirements Minimums: Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred: Strong organizational and communication skills are preferred. Experience with intercollegiate swimming and diving program (student-athlete/coach/administrator) is desired.
