Aquatics & Recreation Supervisor, Racine, WI

Corporate Fitness, 20 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing:

If you have a passion for aquatics & outdoor recreation, we want to meet you! HealthFitness is seeking an experienced part-time Aquatics & Recreation Supervisor to support our robust corporate client program in Racine, WI. In this position, you will assist with the hiring, training, and management of facility lifeguards, swim instructors, and recreation staff. You’ll assist with the development and implementation of programming, staff trainings, basic aquatic maintenance, and provide lifeguard coverage, swim lessons, and community water safety offerings. Flexible schedule and may include some evening and weekend hours in a green, park-like setting. Some of the day-to-day duties also include:

• Collaborate on program planning and procedures for all recreation programs and activities. Promote program offerings and implement recreational activities including, but not limited to, archery, softball leagues, golf course, walking trails, picnic areas, special events, etc.
• Help lead the hiring, training, and supervision of 40-50 part-time employees.
• Develop and implement Learn to Swim, water safety, and aquatic programs and activities.
• Instruct swim lessons and act as Lifeguard and Facility Supervisor as needed.
• Assist with facility maintenance and cleaning. Maintain a safe, clean environment for members including cleaning, scheduling maintenance of equipment, adhering to current precautions.
• Engage in marketing, promotion and outreach in collaboration with the Program Manager.
