Lifeguard, Mercy Healthplex-West Clermont, Batavia, OH

Part-time ($13.00-$15.00/hr)

Schedule- 5:45 AM – 10:00 AM or 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM M-F  & 8:00 AM – 12:00 during weekends

Let’s unpack:

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all the aquatic facility members and guests.

Duties in this role:

• Monitor patrons using the facility.
• Enforce and explain rules of the facility as necessary.
• Coordinate and lead a variety of HealthFitness and program-specific health improvement programs & promotions.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency situation.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for five bodies of water four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Maintain a professional attitude.

What You Will Need:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Lifeguard certification from American Red Cross required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certifications obtained either in person or hybrid from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
