The Yukon Kuskokwim Fitness Center, managed by HealthFitness, has an exciting opportunity for a FT (30-40 hours per week) Lifeguard in Bethel, AK!  As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons, observing and enforcing rules and regulations, responding quickly to emergencies, administering first aid to injured patrons, and communicating with staff and management. You will also attend in-service training programs, perform cleaning and maintenance duties in and around the pool area, and assist Management with other duties as assigned. Our Lifeguards monitor and ensure a safe and friendly environment for all the aquatic facility members and guests. Schedule includes evening & weekend shifts!

What You’ll Need:

• Current American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguard certification required (or applicants can be enrolled in Lifeguard Training).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stong verbal communication skill and the ability to effectively interact with patrons of all ages.
• Will be required to follow any current or future site COVID-19 vaccination policies including but not limited to proof of vaccination, weekly testing, etc.
