Job Description

Aberdeen Golf & Country Club, a distinguished club located in Boynton Beach in the heart of Palm Beach County, Florida, is seeking two certified Pool Technicians, one full-time and one part-time, to assist in the maintenance of our resort style multi-tiered aquatics complex.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide a clean, safe and efficient facility
• Maintain Florida Health Department standards
• Complete daily facility operating procedures including mechanical systems maintenance, water chemistry, disinfection and safety protocol
• Safely handling of chemicals including chlorine, bleach, acid, bicarbonate and other potentially hazardous materials
• Facility troubleshooting
• Complete dedicated weekly and monthly projects
• Assist Facilities Director with Club maintenance and projects
• Follow and enforce all the club’s policies and protocols
• Assist in supply runs for restocking the Aquatics Pump Room
• Report directly to Fitness & Aquatics Assistant Director or Fitness & Aquatics Director

Required Qualifications:

• Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) Certified
• CPR/AED Certified
• Hard-working
• Friendly (member service oriented)
• Dependable and accountable
• Team player

Scheduling:

The full-time position is 40 hours per week and requires availability on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The part-time position is 28 hours per week with a varied schedule.
