Program Coordinator, Aquatics/Recreation (Temporary, 2-3 months) – Anna, Ohio

40 hrs/week starting approximately mid-April, through mid-June or July 2023

Schedule: M-F 9:30a-6p; with potential for rotating Saturday hours 10:00a-3p

We are seeking a talented Program Coordinator, Aquatics/Recreation to support our corporate client site in Anna, OH in a temporary capacity. In this position, you will have the opportunity to put your creative talents to use in an impactful way. You will provide a wide range of services including the development, planning, coordination, marketing and/or implementation of aquatics and recreation programs and events, maximizing participation and engagement.  You will also manage program delivery process and teams, ensuring all staff are properly trained, monitoring quality and reporting on program outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Provides Lifeguarding services;  ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons, observing and enforcing rules and regulations, responding quickly to emergencies, administering first aid to injured patrons
• Supervises program delivery; ensures staff are properly qualified, trained and certified (as applicable) and monitored for quality assurance.
• Oversees all aquatics & recreation programming; develops, coordinates, manages, implements and evaluates health and fitness programs within aquatics and recreation to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction and supervision of programs, services and staff.
• Facilitates the close alignment of programs with the client’s business needs, employee culture and corporate health strategies. Coordinates marketing of programs to maximize outreach and engagement; develops and distributes electronic and print promotional materials to communicate program offerings and special events.
• Gathers program outcomes data and measures results; evaluates and reports on program effectiveness in meeting objectives and makes recommendations for future program enhancements or modifications.
• Researches health & fitness educational topics within their specified areas and identifies appropriate participant educational materials.
• Participates in business planning and budgeting process relating to program and service offerings in their area of expertise.
• Verifies equipment is operating properly and immediately reports any potentially unsafe conditions.
