Several Lifeguard openings for both year-round positions and seasonal positions.If you are not currently a certified lifeguard we can train you! You must be able to meet the requirements for taking lifeguard training include being able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes, and retrieve a 10 lb. brick from the bottom of the pool.Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of the clients at the pool. The position requires interacting with clients, parents and their children, and the public. This includes problem-solving, information and guidance, and top-notch, professional communication. Lifeguards should be able to work in a cooperative team environment. Position requires responsible, consistent, focused, hard-working, and attentive individuals.Responsibilities Include (Other duties may be assigned):Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facilityActs immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergencyProvides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer servicePerforms various maintenance and cleaning duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facilityFollows emergency action plan and procedures established in the event of an emergency.Qualifications and Requirements:Must possess current certificates for: Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional RescuerTitle 22 Certification preferred, but not requiredMust be a minimum of 15 years of ageMust be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of timeMust be self-disciplined, responsible and alertAssertive, courteous, and professional behaviorMust have excellent communication skillsMust be punctualBenefits Include:Competitive wages: up to $14.00 depending upon experiencePaid time off for employees regularly working a minimum of 25 hours per weekHealth and vision benefits for employees regularly working a minimum of 28 hours week
