Town of Parker, CO  Parker, CO $15 an hour – Part-time, TemporaryThe responsibility of the Head Swim Coach is provide training and instruction for children (ages 6- 18 years old) in the sport of swimming in an organized team setting; teaching proper stroke technique of all four competitive strokes, starts and turns and preparing them for competition. This temporary position will also organize any team activities or competitions including any home meets as well as directly supervise any assistant coaching staff. Essential Qualifications:Must be 16 years of age or older. A combination of education and experience to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities (view full job description). Required-American Red Cross CPR/First Aid or Ability to obtain by May 30, 2017. Prefer no less than 1 year of swim team coaching experience. Prefer American Red Cross- Water Safety Instructor Certificate, Lifeguard Training, Coaching Safety Certification. The ability to successfully complete a background check including but not limited to: criminal history search and drug screen is required. Additional Information:Work hours vary; day, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required.
