Part-timeSquad Coach/Assistant Coach Position- Albany Starfish Swim ClubThe Albany Starfish Swim Club, a United States Swimming registered club, is looking for multiple enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated part time age group swimming coaches at the following sites: Niskayuna and Ravena. Opportunities include 9-15 hours of coaching, and swim meet sessions.As a Squad Coach/Assistant Coach you will:Implement daily swim club practices in safe, positive environment designed by head coach.Inspire and challenge each swimmer to achieve their goals and develop positive self-esteem in a safe, learning environment. Emphasize to all swimmers the importance of proper technique, teamwork, sportsmanship, goal setting, learning and fun. Attend swim meets, review meet entries, support meet prep work, and fulfill coaching assignments on time.Be certified in all current required USA Swimming certifications, including first aid, coaches safety, CPR (AED), and USA SWIM background screening.‬‬Qualified candidates should e-mail a cover letter, resume and professional references to Head Coaches Dan Tanski and Joshua Wolin at the addresses below.
