Swim Coach Ypsilanti Otters Swim Club – Ypsilanti, MI $11 an hour – Part-time

Ypsilanti Otters Swim Club is seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and positive swimming coaches. The team is one of the oldest community swim clubs in the area and we are excited to embrace children of all swimming abilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to share their love of the sport with young and inspired swimmers.Time Commitment: Monday through Friday, 5:30-8:30 ~ with some opportunities to work weekends.Required Qualifications:Knowledge of all four competitive swim strokesAbility to explain the mechanics and proper technique of competitive swim strokes, starts, and turnsWillingness to accommodate various learning styles and patience while instructingDemonstrate preparedness with written, purposeful workoutsPreferred QualificationsExperience instructing/teaching groups of children ages 4 to 18Lifeguard/CPR/First aid certificationExperience with USA SwimmingQuestions about the position?
