We are a busy and greatly loved swim instruction program that teaches children from 3 months to 10 years of age. We have been in business in the Puget Sound region for almost 20 years and have over 900 families attending our program weekly. We offer paid training in our WaterBabies and WaterKids programming at competitive salaries!We offer classes at five locations: Bellevue, Sammamish, Kirkland, Mill Creek, and Renton (opening in January!) You may be training/working at one or more of the locations, but we make every attempt to place you (once trained) at the location nearest to where you live. Training salary: $13/hr. progressing to potential $15/hr. within 3 months.WATERBABIES INSTRUCTORS (Kirkland, Bellevue, Renton, Sammamish)We partner with parents in the aquatic education of their child to create a successful water experience. Our goal is to empower parents by teaching them the skills to teach their child to swim. Parents do most of the handling of their child in the water and instructors are there to “coach” parents on the techniques.Requirements: No previous swim instruction experience necessary. We are looking for a reliable, outgoing person with great communication skills who loves children and is comfortable working with parents. You need to have a love of water, reliable transportation, be detail-oriented and able to adapt to different situations easily.WATERKIDS INSTRUCTORS (Bellevue, Renton, Sammamish)Our instructors work with students to develop a harmonious relationship with the water. They build a strong foundation for the strokes by introducing breathing exercises, correct body alignment, building core body strength and introduce propulsion.Requirements: A minimum of 1 year experience working with children 3-5 yrs. of age; swim instruction background desired but not required for this position as we will train in method and technique. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with young children, playful yet focused, and confident instructing others. You need to have a love of water, flexible schedule, and reliable transportation.Job Type: Part-timeSalary: $15.00 /hour
