Part-timeWater Safety/Swim Instructor (Part-Time)Aqua-Tots Swim School is looking for energetic, and outgoing personality’s to join our team. Water Safety/Swim Instructor with Lifeguard or Swim Coach experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates must have a sincere love of children, a passion for teaching, and a love for aquatics. Great opportunity to work with children in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area! We will be located off of Old Alabama Road near the intersection of Jones Bridge Road.Aqua-Tots Swim School specializes in teaching water safety from day one. “Lessons for Life” is one of our guiding philosophies. We don’t require any previous experience, and provide paid training for the position. We would love to have you as part of our program and we hope to see you in our pools soon!Water Safety/Swim Instructor Job Responsibilities:Teach swimming skills in accordance to Aqua-Tots standards in a fun, positive mannerProvide continuous, positive and corrective feedback to students and parents on their swimming effortsStructure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skillsEnsure “Safety First with Fun every Second”Maintain cleanliness in and around the pool area by performing opening and closing dutiesWater Safety/Swim Instructor Job Requirements:Previous swim instruction, lifeguard, aquatics, or swim coach experience preferredExperience working with children preferredSome High SchoolCurrent American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED (We will certify you if needed)High energyExcellent Customer ServiceQualified candidates are encouraged to apply with their resume and cover letter detailing your strengths and why you would be a great fit for Aqua-Tots.
