We’re ready to bring on a few more high quality people to be Swim Instructors. Nitro Swimming, the area’s LEADER in everything swimming, is looking for the best and the brightest! We have plenty of hours to offer (20-30 hours a week), we’re indoors, and we’re looking at adding three to four HIGH Quality/High Character people to our teaching staff at our Nitro Swimming Bee Cave location, 15506 Hwy 71 W, only 2.7 miles west of the Galleria. Nitro Swimming is a 30,000 square foot, totally indoor, state of the art swim center, and home to two separate indoor pools. One is a BEAUTIFUL 50 meter Olympic training pool with twenty three lanes, the other our 4 lane teaching pool described below. Nitro Swimming is also home to the 10-time Texas Age Group Swimming Champions! Our Swim School pool is 4 lanes, crystal clear water kept at a very comfortable and constant temperature of 88 degrees, complete with UV filtration. The pace is fast, it is energetic, and it is fun! We handle all of the administrative work, we track the kiddos. YOU bring the sunshine personality and the teaching skills!! We expect a lot from our Swim School Instructors, and we only want the BEST. That’s why we pay the best. Starting pay is $13/hr for group lessons (ratios of 3:1 and 4:1), and we allow you to also teach private lessons where you earn $40/hour. Training is paid. If you have a swim background, training is typically speedier. Main shifts available currently are Mon-Thur 3:45 to-7:15PM; Saturdays 8:00 or 8:30AM to 1:00PM. Must have a true LOVE of teaching kids, be energetic, friendly, engaging, and well groomed with a clean appearance. Must also be drug free and non-smoker. All applicants will be submitting to a background check.
