Swim Team Coach Maryland Golf and Country Clubs – Bel Air, MD 21015 Part-timeMaryland Golf and Country Clubs is seeking an enthusiastic, organized individual to be our seasonal Swim Team Head Coach. This position begins at the beginning of May and ends mid-July, with possibility of employment as an Assistant Pool Manager through September.Experience with Swim Team Coaching and competitive swimming is required.Current certification in CPR, AED, First Aid and Safety Training is required. Current certification in Life Guarding is a distinctive plus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities are as follows (but not limited to):This position is responsible for running the Summer Swim Team program, including practices, meets, etc.Establishing and maintaining a courteous, helpful relationship by communicating professionally and effectively with our parents and swimmers.Understanding of swim codes, laws and safety regulations as well as being familiar with all emergency procedures.Has the ability to show proper stroke and technique and employs only those methods of teaching techniques outlined/approved by US Swimming.
