We only hire the best, and we need your skills to keep Seven Peaks as the place where “The Fun Never Ends!” Pay $9/hr + $1/hr performance-based summer bonus Schedule Pre-Season (through April), Part-Time, shift days/hours vary Season (May-August), Full-Time Monday-Saturday, shift hours vary (Saturdays and holidays are required) Post-Season (September), Extremely Part-Time as needed, shift days/hours vary (to close up department) Duties Your pre-season tasks would include assisting the Lifeguard Manager with the following: Recruiting, hiring, and training approximately 110+ seasonal Lifeguards.Assisting with trainings for Lifeguard certification and re-certification (under the direction of a certified trainer).Ordering Lifeguard uniforms and replacement equipment/supplies (e.g. first aid supplies, lifeguard tubes, etc.).Your typical day would include:Supervising operations and staff members to ensure customer safety, satisfaction, and compliance with company policies.Responding to first aid emergencies and evaluating park safety on a daily basis.Holding weekly in-service training meetings for Lifeguards.Responding to customer inquiries and complaints according to company policy.Tracking and adjusting employee times in time system.Conducting audits of staff members and re-training/disciplining as needed.(Swimming two 500’s weekly is also required)Qualifications Our ideal Lifeguard Supervisor is responsible, dependable, self-motivated, adaptable, and has the following education, skills, and experience: Must be at least 18 years of age2+ years Waterpark and Lifeguard experienceRed Cross Lifeguard CertificationRed Cross Water Park CertificationRed Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer CertificationNo supervisory experience necessaryPC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-pace settingStrong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and WordStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to work in a fast-paced, sometimes demanding working conditions; Working in the heat and sun is required, and walking through the park several times a day is required.Testing: All applicants are subject to random background checks and random drug tests.
